How to remove text from a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF.
  2. Click the text you want gone and press ✕.
  3. For logos, lines or scanned text, use Whiteout and drag the corner to cover it.
  4. Press Download PDF.

Is deleted text gone for good?

It is covered on the page so nobody can see it. For confidential information, the hidden text layer may still contain the old words, so use a dedicated redaction tool for legal or private documents.

Does the whiteout match the background?

Deleted text is covered with the color behind it. Whiteout boxes are white.

Are my files private?
