How to edit the text in a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF.
  2. Click the sentence or word you want to change. It turns into an editable box.
  3. Type your changes, or press ✕ to delete the text.
  4. Press Download PDF.

Will my changes match the rest of the document?

Yes. Edited text reuses the font that is already inside your PDF, at the same size and color. Letters the PDF has never used fall back to the closest standard font.

Can I fix a typo without retyping the whole page?

Yes. Click just that line, fix the word and download. Everything else stays exactly as it was.

Can I edit a scanned PDF?

A scan is a picture of a page, so there is no text to click. Use Whiteout to cover the old words and type new ones on top.

Are my files private?

Yes. Your file opens and is edited inside your own browser. It is never uploaded to our servers.
