How to redact a PDF
- Choose your PDF.
- Press ⬛ Redact in the toolbar.
- Tap the text to black out, or drag the black box over anything private and resize it.
- Press Download PDF.
Is the hidden text really gone?
Yes. Pages with redactions are saved as images, so the words underneath can't be selected, searched or copied.
Can I redact part of a picture?
Yes. Drag the black box over any area of the page, not just text.
Are my files private?
Yes. Your file opens and is edited inside your own browser. It is never uploaded to our servers.
