How to fill out an I-9

  1. Download the current Form I-9 from uscis.gov, then choose it here.
  2. Click each box in Section 1 and type your information.
  3. Use ✔ to tick your citizenship or immigration status.
  4. Click Sign and Date, then press Download PDF.

Which part do I fill in?

New employees complete Section 1. Your employer completes Section 2 after checking your documents.

When is it due?

Section 1 must be completed by your first day of work.
