How to edit the text in a scanned document
- Choose the scanned document (PDF).
- Wait a few seconds while it reads the text.
- Tap the line you want to change and type.
- Press Download PDF.
Does the new text match?
It compares the letter shapes in your scan to pick the closest font, bold or regular, at the same size. You can switch fonts with the font menu.
Can it read handwriting?
No. It reads printed text. For handwriting, cover it with Whiteout and type on top.
Are my files private?
Yes. Your file opens and is edited inside your own browser. It is never uploaded to our servers.
